"Filling empty homes would solve the crisis"
A significant stock. But it's not that simple.
INE estimates 3.837.328 empty homes in Spain.
That's 14.4% of the housing stock. But there are also 7.027.609 more homes than households. The bottleneck isn't just about counting units.

What the data says
1 A significant stock of empty homes doesn't mean they're located where demand pressure is highest.
2 It also doesn't mean they'll come to market at the price, condition, or use that today's excluded households need.
Empty homes matter, but they can't solve alone a problem that is also geographic and economic.
